Excellent use of After Effects and rendering in this music video for “Love Hits The Fan” by Phonat, directed and produced by Rocco Pezzella , Andrea Staiano, Francesco Castellani for the “Savants Collective”

Oh to be this good at After Effects…

Demo CD packaging designs by Joe Hinder. I love the simple ‘line drawn’ style and composition of these designs, and overall he has some pretty impressive work considering he is a recent graphic design graduate. More on his portfolio here.

Love this retro design style.

Was browsing through the Brand New blog and I saw this. This rebrand of HTV (Hispanic TV, a music channel available in the US, Latin America and Europe) is a good example of logo redesign well executed without totally ignoring the previous form. The composition is fairly similar but the letterforms are now more script-like, and have been stripped bare, floating inside a pink bubble roughly taking the shape of a guitar pick. It’s seems like a more suitable identity for a music channel, and it is definitely more refined and modern, perhaps because the design follows current trends a little closely. More information about the redesign here.
