Animated TV spot for Brazil-only Fox channel Fox Retro. Brilliantly executed concept, the transitions between 2D and 3D are impressively seamless!
This work was carried out by PUNGA, with music by Daniele Carmosino.
Logo for the fictional “LOST University”, created as part of a viral campaign for the upcoming final season of the TV show. Nice to see the polar bear making another appearance!

MTV International (non-US MTV channels) are going back to basics with the original 1981 MTV logo. More info on the redesign and new identity elements can be found here.
Variations on the number 4 - the logo designs of the UK Channel 4 Corporation’s major TV channels. I’ve always liked these logos -they’re simple, clear, perfectly suited to each channel’s seperate tone/subject/target market, and they work great as a whole series too. Designed in-house I think, but I couldn’t find confirmation of this. More information about the channels can be found here.
Was browsing through the Brand New blog and I saw this. This rebrand of HTV (Hispanic TV, a music channel available in the US, Latin America and Europe) is a good example of logo redesign well executed without totally ignoring the previous form. The composition is fairly similar but the letterforms are now more script-like, and have been stripped bare, floating inside a pink bubble roughly taking the shape of a guitar pick. It’s seems like a more suitable identity for a music channel, and it is definitely more refined and modern, perhaps because the design follows current trends a little closely. More information about the redesign here.
Here is a set of adverts for the fictional Dharma Initiative (part of the US TV show ‘LOST’) which a guy on Flickr (username Hot Meteor) created.

To anyone who has been keeping up with Lost recently or has an interest in the plot, these will make more sense. The style and implementation is top-notch (they pretty much look completely genuine, paper crinkles n’ all) and to give the guy props, he really managed to nail down the ‘retro’ 70’s advertising style relevant to the timeline in the show.
